Adam speaks at the 21st Century Learning Leadership Forum in Banff
Adam spoke Friday at the international 21st Century Learning Leadership Forum in Banff, AB. The conference brought together key thinkers on education from around the globe to discuss synergies between the forum themes of Careers, Learning, Globalization and Sustainability (economic/environment). Forum speakers challenged current thinking on building and sustaining a learning society in Canada and abroad.
Adam gave the conference’s closing address. He encouraged attendees to incorporate elements of adventure into current K-12 curricula. He discussed the benefits of teaching youth to challenge their preconceived limits and gain experience dealing with risk, and he urged all attendees to adopt a mentality of high performance. Adam described how high performing leaders within our educational system can create successful and sustainable learning environments for youth of all ages.
